We're looking for someone to scale a team of warm callers. 2 month full-time contract.
ivee is an AI upskilling platform focused on closing the AI adoption gap.
We train non-technical teams on AI tools and workflows so they actually use them. Clients include Lucky Saint, Red Bull, and Virgin Media. We're the UK Government's primary AI upskilling events partner and recently raised a $1M seed round backed by Techstars, and angels from Balderton Microsoft AI, and Steven Bartlett.
We move FAST. You must be able to do the same.
We are sitting on 10,000+ warm inbound phone numbers that haven't been called. These have come in in the last 3 weeks alone.
At the same time, we're ready to build a cold calling engine from scratch.
This role owns both.
What you'll do
1. Turn warm leads into revenue - immediate priority
- Build and execute a system to call 10,000+ warm leads (build a team)
- Prioritise, segment, and structure outreach for maximum conversion
- Drive volume and quality
2. Build a high-performing calling team
- Hire, onboard, and manage freelance cold callers
- Set compensation + commission structures
- Create a high-performance culture (closers only)
- Monitor performance ruthlessly - double down on winners, cut underperformers
3. Own scripts, training, and conversion
- Write and iterate call scripts
- Build training materials and onboarding flows
- Continuously improve conversion rates
4. Set up the infrastructure properly
- Ensure Aircall is fully optimised
- Ensure calls, outcomes, and revenue are correctly logged in Attio (CRM)
- Build reporting on performance, pipeline, and revenue
5. Build and scale cold calling strategy
- Design and implement outbound strategy
- Decide whether to use freelancers, agencies, or both
- Work directly with founders to test and scale what works
What we need from you
- Proven experience building and scaling cold calling teams
- Experience hiring, managing, and replacing underperforming sales reps
- Strong track record of driving revenue through phone sales
- Deep understanding of commission + incentive structures
- Experience creating scripts, training, and sales processes
- Comfortable operating in high-volume, high-pressure environments
- Ability to work directly with founders and execute fast
AI fluency is mandatory
- Must be able to build automations (e.g. n8n)
- Must demo this in interview
- If not AI-fluent, this role is not a fit.
Salary
We hate to be that annoying startup that doesn't disclose salary… but we are flexible. We will pay you fairly for your experience level but do not want to lose any top tier applicants by putting a number here.
