As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead customer engagement, sales, and contracting efforts for our cutting‑edge Megapack battery energy storage systems and industry‑leading services. By strengthening our energy infrastructure with Megapack, we create a cleaner and more stable grid. Fromτι conception to contract execution, you will close complex, multimillion‑dollar deals, leading project teams with colleagues from engineering, operations,ARA, finance, service, and legal. To be successful you will bring strong technical knowledge of the utility‑scale electricity industry and a proven track record of leading complex contract negotiations.What You’ll DoDrive negotiation and contracting of equipment supply agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, and related software sales agreementsAchieve sales goals by managing a project pipeline of opportunities spanning multiple countries, timelines and project typesDevelop sales opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developers, and utilitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, terms, and pricing for battery storage projects that meet customers’ needs while protecting Tesla’s interestsContribute to the strategy for and preparation of tender responses, in collaboration with Tesla’s Bid TeamEnsure accurate pipeline data and provide reporting to managementEvaluate market dynamics and drivers and provide key market insights to the broader Tesla team, determining and executing the most effective go‑to‑market strategiesWhat You’ll Bring7+ years of sales/account management experience in the utility‑scale electric generation, transmission, or storage industryDemonstrated expertise in structuring and leading complex negotiations in energy, construction, project finance, or a related field. Experience in renewable energy industry is a plusAbility to identify problems, lead projects, and provide pragmatic solutionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with colleagues and customersFlexibility to travel (up to 50%)Fluency in EnglishSeniority level: Mid‑Senior level.
