Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading provider of critical power solutions to recruit a Sales Manager for its UK-sales team.The strategically important Sales Manager role comes with a competitive salary of up to £55,000, pension, overtime opportunities, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.If you're a Sales Manager looking to work for an organisation that values expertise, integrity, and long-term development, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Manager roleReporting to the National Sales Manager you will:Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systemsWork closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentationProvide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handoverPrepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring productsIdentify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetingsProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineeringKnowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).Personal skillsThe Sales Manager role would suit someone who is:Technically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer valueCommercially aware with a proactive approach to business developmentConfident presenting and engaging with customers at all levelsHighly organised with strong time management skills.A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsSalary and benefits of the Sales Manager roleSalary - competitive.BonusCar allowance.Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (with flexible start/finish times).25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days in total).Pension scheme.
