IMMEDIATE START | FULL-TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our dynamic and friendly Sales & Marketing team as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to kick-start their career in Sales & Marketing within a fast-paced role. ABOUT THE ROLE Your role as Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be based in South Kensington and will support both The Ampersand Hotel and Vintry & Mercer Hotel and comes with the following responsibilities: Sales • Assist with general administrative tasks • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting • Maintain and update the Sales database • Coordinate and support site inspections and client visits to the hotel • Track sales activities, prepare reports, and assist in forecasting • Ensure all contracts, agreements, and client records are accurately documented and filed • Assist the Head of Sales & Marketing in handling corporate, leisure, group and event enquiries • Manage the Sales & Marketing inbox Marketing • Update the hotel website ensuring all content is accurate and up to date • Maintain and update the marketing database • Assist with compiling the newsletter • Assist with coordinating photoshoots • Assist with coordinating content creation visits for social media channels • Update 3rd party websites as required • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications and platforms • Assist in assembling and updating promotional and sales materials Events • Assist with event enquiries as required • Conduct client site inspections • Ensure Opera and other systems are updated with all the relevant client information The job description given above is intended as a guide only and is in no way meant to limit the scope of duties associated with the role. Functional Skills, Knowledge and Experience • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written • Professional, client-focused and service-oriented • Strong organisational & numerical skills • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Able to work within a team and on own initiative (A Self Starter) • Proactive and self-motivated, with a “can-do” attitude Social Skills and Experience To possess the ability to communicate with guests and staff in order to project a positive image of the hotel. The ability to maintain hotel standards of work under pressure.
