We're looking for a Sales & Operations Associate to join our small but highly skilled and experienced team to continue KJ's 60-year success story as a purveyor of high-end audio.

A successful candidate will focus on providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, handling deliveries and installations at customers’ homes, maintaining store standards.

Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments are all required.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Customer Service: Welcoming customers, offering advice, assisting with product queries, organising product demonstrations in the store and at customers’ homes, replying to enquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
• Sales and Transactions: Operating POS systems, handling cash and card payments, processing refunds, and upselling products.
• Stock Management: Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, replenishing shelves, maintaining and updating accurate stock records, conducting regular inventory counts.
• Store Appearance: Maintaining, cleaning, and merchandising displays to visual standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication and a friendly, engaging attitude.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to spend long hours on foot, lifting, delivering and installing.
• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with inventory management and POS systems, computers and mobile devices.
• Reliability: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid UK driving license
• Previous experience in luxury retail is a plus
• Strong interest or passion for high end audio and sound systems is a necessity
• Experience and knowledge of the high end audio brands and products are advantageous but in-house training will be provided
• Love of music is a must

Compensation

A competitive basic salary plus sales commission
