Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer – 6 Month Contract
London (2 days onsite)

We’re looking for a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join a Marketing Automation team delivering high-volume, data-driven email campaigns to a large customer base. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling a modern, standardised email design system.
You’ll be responsible for developing responsive, dynamic emails aligned to marketing objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy accurate, high-performing email campaigns in SFMC
• Develop responsive, dynamic emails using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript
• Create and optimise reusable templates and modules in Content Builder
• Support and evolve a scalable email design system
• Conduct QA, testing, and troubleshooting across devices and clients
• Contribute to A/B testing and campaign optimisation
• Implement interactive and personalised email features
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support self-serve capabilities

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong HTML/CSS for responsive email development
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, APIs)
• Solid AMPscript and SSJS expertise
• Experience building dynamic, personalised email campaigns
• Understanding of email deliverability and cross-client rendering
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. Litmus)
• High attention to detail with strong QA capability
• Effective communication and time management skills

Desirable

• Experience with Journey Builder / Automation Studio
• Exposure to interactive email tools (e.g. Liveclicker, Movable Ink)
• Familiarity with Jira or Workfront
• Relevant SFMC certifications
