As an SAP Master Data Solution Architect, you will play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation programme. We are looking for an experienced professional who will lead the end-to-end design and architecture of SAP Master Data solutions across a greenfield implementation, rollout, enhancement, and steady-state environment on SAP with RISE. You will be responsible for shaping the master data architecture required to support SAP standard functionality across the retail landscape. You will work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure the solution is aligned with SAP best practices, supports SIT, UAT, and performance testing phases, and is ready for deployment prior to and after go-live.

Key responsibilities:

Define and lead the overall SAP Master Data architecture across SAP ERP, ECC, and S/4HANA environments. Develop master data strategies to ensure accuracy, quality, compliance, and cross-functional consistency. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and best-practice master data solutions. Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise-wide data governance. Ensure master data processes support key business domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Procurement. Oversee integration of SAP master data with internal and external systems (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, APIs, middleware). Provide expert guidance during SAP migrations, implementations, and transformation workstreams. Conduct root-cause analysis and lead resolutions for complex master data issues. Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and cutover activities related to master data readiness. Ensure all master data processes comply with GDPR and relevant industry governance standards.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Proven experience as an SAP Master Data Solution Architect. In-depth understanding of SAP ERP, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA, including migration processes and conversion methodologies. Strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and governance, with a track record of implementing high-quality data solutions. Proficiency in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and defining end-to-end master data architecture. Strong understanding of core business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Procurement. Expertise in SAP integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and third-party middleware. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP as they relate to SAP environments. Experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations (greenfield or brownfield). Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and change management processes. Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate). Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI, APIs). Prior consulting experience or experience in client-facing roles.
