SAP BTP MDM Consultant

On‑site Requirement: 2–3 days/week (mandatory minimum 3 days once fully onboarded; initially may start at 2 days)

Contract Type: 6‑month initial term (strong likelihood of extension)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Project Context

Part of the S/4HANA Transformation Program, focused on post go-live support and defect resolution for SAP BTP Master Data Management (MDM) areas. The role supports an ongoing application maintenance stream within the client's existing AMS contract.

Additional Details

• Handle BAU support for SAP BTP MDM incidents and post‑go‑live issues.
• Build and manage the MDM repository in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare documentation for defect resolution.
• Support knowledge transfer to the offshore team and manage related training sessions.
• Lead design decisions for change requests and test defect resolutions.
• Ensure smooth integration between SAP and non‑SAP systems via APIs, ETL, and messaging tools.
• Solid expertise in SAP Master Data Management (MDM), including Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Location data models.
• Proven experience implementing at least one S/4HANA project as an MDM Consultant.
• Proficiency in data integration technologies (APIs, ETL tools, messaging frameworks).
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality management.
• Knowledge of retail business processes is desirable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with client‑facing confidence.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams (business, technical, and offshore).
