SATS Intervention Specialist – Scunthorpe Start Date: After Easter Pay: £100 per day Are you passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential? We are seeking an experienced SATS Intervention Specialist to support Year 6 students who are currently not working at age-related expectations in Literacy and Numeracy. About the Role You will work closely with Year 6 pupils, providing targeted intervention sessions designed to accelerate progress ahead of SATS. You’ll be supporting small groups and individual learners, adapting your approach to meet varied learning needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver focused intervention sessions in Literacy and Numeracy to Year 6 pupils. Use diagnostic information to plan and deliver effective learning support. Track and monitor pupil progress, feeding back to class teachers and senior leaders. Tailor support for pupils with a range of needs, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum. Prepare pupils confidently for their upcoming SATS assessments. Requirements Proven experience supporting Year 6 learners, particularly those working below age-related expectations. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATS assessment requirements. Good understanding of SEN and effective strategies for supporting diverse learning needs. Ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners. Availability to start after Easter in Scunthorpe. What We Offer Competitive pay at £100 per day.
