We are recruiting on behalf of a local housing association for a Scheme Manager in Leicester to oversee the day-to-day management of one of their housing schemes. This is a hands-on, resident-focused role, supporting over-55s and ensuring the scheme remains safe, well-maintained, and welcoming.About the RoleAs Scheme Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for residents, providing advice, support, and assistance while ensuring the smooth running of the scheme. You will carry out health and safety checks, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and monitor residents wellbeing. The role also involves supporting tenancy sustainment, managing lettings processes, and promoting community engagement.Key Responsibilities of a Scheme Manager:Oversee daily management of the scheme, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environmentProvide residents with advice, support, and timely responses to enquiriesCarry out health and safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checksReport and follow up on repairs, liaising with contractors and internal teamsMonitor residents wellbeing and coordinate support with relevant agenciesManage lettings, including viewings, sign-ups, and welcoming new residentsAddress low-level anti-social behaviour and promote positive community relationshipsMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with policyEnsure communal areas are maintained, coordinating cleaning and grounds servicesAssist with rent monitoring and report arrears or changes in resident circumstancesOrganise resident engagement activities to build a sense of communityWhat We'd Love To See From You:Experience in housing or supported housing managementFull UK driving licence and access to a carFit and mobile to visit residents in over-55s bungalowsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsOrganised, proactive, and able to manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of tenancy management, rent monitoring, and tenancy sustainmentIf this Scheme Manager role is for you please apply or contactJBRP1_UKTJ
