We are currently recruiting for an experienced and organised School Administrator to join a well-established school in Dudley from September. This is a busy and varied role within a fast-paced school office, requiring someone who is confident, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a school setting and be confident using at least one of the following systems: SIMS, BROMCOM, or ARBOR.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing front-of-house reception support, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
Managing incoming calls, emails, and day-to-day enquiries
Updating and maintaining pupil records using SIMS, BROMCOM, or ARBOR
Supporting attendance processes, including monitoring and reporting
Assisting with admissions and general data input tasks
Carrying out a range of administrative duties to support the school office
Adhering to safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school office environment
Strong working knowledge of SIMS, BROMCOM, or ARBOR (essential)
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills with a professional manner
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
Important Information:
No training will be provided - applicants must be able to start and perform the role immediately
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly desirable
Candidates without a DBS will be required to obtain and pay for their own Enhanced DBS check
