School Administrator

Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets Contract: [Full-time] Start Date: Immediately

We are seeking an organised, efficient, and welcoming School Administrator to join our busy secondary school in Tower Hamlets.

This is a key front-facing role, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and providing high-quality administrative support to staff, students, and parents/carers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff

Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors and handling enquiries

Maintain accurate student records and data systems

Support attendance, admissions, and general school administration

Handle telephone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally

Assist with safeguarding, first aid records, and compliance procedures where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous administrative experience (school or education setting desirable)

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and school management systems

Excellent organisational and communication skills

A professional, calm, and friendly manner

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

A strong commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
