Main Responsibilities as School Caretaker Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and basic DIY tasks across the school site

Opening and locking the school each day, ensuring the site is secure

Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times

Supervising cleaning staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the premises

Assisting with the setup of rooms and spaces for school events, exams and other activities

Monitoring contractors on site and supporting planned maintenance tasks

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience in a caretaking, site management or facilities role, ideally within a school

Good practical skills in areas such as plumbing, painting or basic carpentry
