About the Role
As a School Caretaker, you will:

Open and close school buildings safely (shift patterns may vary)

Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs, and basic DIY tasks

Ensure the school site is clean, safe, and well-presented

Manage deliveries and maintain stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies

Support cleaning teams and other school staff as needed

Assist with setting up rooms for events, assemblies, and exams

Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues across the school site

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in caretaking, site management, maintenance, or facilities

Strong practical skills and confidence with basic repairs

A proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach

Good communication skills and ability to work independently

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
