We are looking for a cleaner to join our busy housekeeping team in keeping our School and residential houses safe, tidy and clean for children and young people to enjoy. No previous experience is necessary simply a positive can-do attitude, neat and tidy work habits and a genuine commitment to making sure our campus can be enjoyed by children and young people, staff and the wider community. All housekeeping staff enjoy 7.2 weeks paid holiday leave entitlement including a full week shutdown over the Christmas period, sociable working hours with no weekend working, entry into a group personal pension scheme and the chance to learn Deaf awareness and British Sign Language. Main Duties and Responsibilities - A variety of cleaning duties linked to classrooms, toilets, offices and any other designated areas for example, residential houses lived-in by staff and children during term time. - T

o operate industrial and electronic cleaning equipment - To fully participate in training linked to the workplace including, though not limited to, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Groups, Health and Safety including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), Healthy School status, British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness - To work with flexibility to provide cover for periods of absence in the Housekeeping Team - T

o undertake laundry duties as directed by the housekeeper - To contribute to whole School activities such as Open / celebration Days
