School Cleaner

Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a local school in Huddersfield to recruit a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner. This is a part-time role with consistent afternoon hours, ideal for candidates seeking stable term-time work.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic school environment. Duties will include:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
Cleaning toilet and washroom facilities
Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as required
Ensuring cleaning duties are carried out to required health and safety standards
Working independently and efficiently within the allocated time

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
3:00pm - 6:00pm

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting desirable but not essential)
A good standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and follow instructions
A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
