Aspire People are proud to be partnering with a secondary school in Stockport seeking experienced Science Teachers for a full-time, long-term supply role. For the right candidate, this opportunity could lead to a permanent position.

The role requires a teacher who can bring energy and dedication to their classroom while supporting students through their GCSE preparation.

Key Responsibilities: * Teach Science across KS3 & KS4, including supporting Y10 & Y11 students with their GCSE exam preparations. * Implement effective behaviour management strategies and adhere to the school's behaviour policy. * Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with SEN. * Provide engaging and challenging lessons to encourage student achievement and progress. * Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure the school's standards of education are upheld.

Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science. * Availability to start ASAP or after Easter, until at least the end of the academic year, with the potential to go permanent. * Excellent behaviour management and classroom control. * Reliable, adaptable, and resilient with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. * Experience supporting students with SEN and the ability to adjust teaching methods to suit their needs. * DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS. * References covering the last 2 years.
