Science Teacher

Location: Rochdale Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (term time only) Start Date: Immediate start until Easter (with potential to continue or become permanent) Salary: £160- £220 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity? A well-regarded secondary school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team and teach pupils up to Key Stage 4.

This is a full teaching role, involving planning, delivery, and marking, within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. There is the potential for this role to become long-term or permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Plan and prepare structured, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management

Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider Science department and school community

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Experience teaching Science at secondary school level

A passion for inspiring young people and maintaining high standards of learning
