Science Teacher / Subject Leader (SEN School) East Finchley
Temp to Perm | Full-Time from September
A welcoming and well-resourced specialist secondary school in East Finchley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher / Subject Leader to join their team from September on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

The Role:
  • Teach Science across Key Stages, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons suited to students with additional needs
  • Teach 4 days per week, with a reduced timetable
  • Spend 1 day per week leading Science across the school (PPA Subject Leadership), driving curriculum development and supporting teaching and learning
  • Play a key role in shaping a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student progress and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified teacher with experience teaching Science
  • Experience working with autistic students is essential
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and adaptive teaching approaches
  • Confident in leading a subject area and supporting colleagues
  • Passionate about making a positive difference in a specialist setting
