We are looking for a Science Teacher to work in an innovative independent school near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Science Teacher required from September on a full-time basis Progressive independent school with a STEM-focused curriculum Teaching general Science at KS3, and Biology or Chemistry at KS4–KS5
We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a highly collaborative and forward-looking science faculty at an independent day school near Cheltenham. This is a full-time, permanent post suited to someone who is deeply committed to fostering scientific curiosity and rigour among high-achieving students.
You will be working within a well-equipped department that includes modern laboratories, prep rooms, and digital learning tools. The department regularly runs fieldwork and enrichment experiences, and there is strong support for science competitions and Olympiads. The successful candidate should bring both subject expertise and a track record of excellent teaching practice.
Experience and Qualifications • A strong academic degree in a science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) • Teaching qualification and recent secondary school experience • Confident teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable) • Commitment to independent school values and enrichment • Right to work in the UK
