Position: Science Teacher (Key Stages 3–4/5) Start Date: Immediate Location: Colchester

About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed Science Teacher to join our dedicated secondary teaching team. The successful candidate will inspire students, foster a deep understanding of mathematics, and help learners build confidence in their problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and 5 if applicable) Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the curriculum Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods Provide clear, constructive feedback to support academic development Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions Essential Qualifications & Skills
