Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Science Teacher for a mainstream secondary school based within the Manchester area.\n\nThe role will involve teaching Science at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required. The position will start on 05/01/26 and will continue on a part-time basis until the summer, covering a maternity leave. The working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * Ability to teach Science up to KS4\n\n * A passion for the subject\n\n * Ability to raise standards throughout\n\n * Ability to engage with a varied cohort\n\n * Excellent communication skills\n\n * Ability to plan and differentiate lessons accordingly\n\n * Good behaviour management strategies\n\n * Hold right to work in the UK\n\n * Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service\n\n * Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent\n\n * Available from January on a part-time basis\n\nThe school is looking for a team player with an ability to deliver pupil progress.
