GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to work at a girl’s secondary school in Tower Hamlets from after the Easter break on a long-term maternity cover basis, potentially running until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who can deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4, inspire curiosity, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student attainment and ensuring continuity during the maternity cover period.

As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour Integrate practical experiments and hands-on learning to develop students’ scientific inquiry skills.
