Job Description Horizon Teachers are delighted to be working with a thriving secondary school in Harrow, North-West London, as they look to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their successful department.
This long-term role offers a competitive salary between M1 (£37,868) and UPS3 (£56,154), depending on experience.
This forward-thinking school is seeking a passionate Science specialist who can motivate and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach KS5 welcomed but not essential. You will be joining a supportive, high-performing Science Department that prides itself on excellent teamwork, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
In this role, you will deliver exciting and well-structured lessons that develop students scientific thinking, practical skills, and confidence. The ideal candidate will uphold the schools high expectations and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
What the School is Looking for:

A qualified teacher with QTS or a PGCE in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcome)
Experience teaching Science up to KS4 (KS5 experience is an advantage)
Strong behaviour management and a reflective, adaptable approach
Confident lesson planning, delivery, and assessment skills
A genuine passion for Science and helping students achieve their potential...
