We are seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, inclusive mainstream secondary school in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 711) within the Science department (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), helping to inspire the next generation of scientists.
The Role: Support Science teachers in delivering engaging, practical and inclusive lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Assist with setting up and supervising laboratory experiments, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. Work 1:1 and in small groups with students, including those with SEN or EAL needs, to reinforce scientific understanding. Provide targeted academic support to help students prepare for GCSE examinations. Contribute to students academic progress and confidence in STEM subjects. Build strong relationships with staff and students while developing your classroom presence and subject knowledge delivery.
