I am currently working with a secondary school in the East London area who are seeking an English Teacher for a temporary role.

The school is looking for a candidate with relevant teaching experience and qualifications; however, applications from individuals with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience will also be considered.

English Teacher East London (Newham)
Location: Newham, East London
Position: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Temporary (with potential to extend)
Full time/part time: Full time (term time only)
Minimum rate of pay: GBP140GBP170 per day

About the Role:
You will be delivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on supporting Year 10 students. The role involves full classroom responsibilities including planning, delivery, and behaviour management. The current booking runs until 22 May, with the possibility of extension following review.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:
QTS or relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching English up to KS4
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Experience supporting students preparing for assessments
A proactive and committed approach to teaching and learning
