Job Title: Secondary PE Teacher Location: South East London Pay Range: MPS (M1–M6 Inner London) (PAYE or Umbrella) Contract Type: Part time/Full time
ANZUK Education is working with a range of supportive and diverse secondary schools in South East London seeking flexible and adaptable Secondary PE Teachers to support their teams from April 2026. This role offers the opportunity to teach Physical Education across key stages, support learning in different school environments, and maintain strong behaviour practice.
This Secondary PE Teacher role in South East London would suit experienced PE Teachers, ECTs confident with behaviour management, or PE specialists seeking flexibility.
Key Responsibilities of a Secondary PE Teacher:

Deliver PE lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
*
Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement and participation.
*
Adapt activities and teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and ability levels.
*
Support pupils’ physical development, teamwork and positive conduct.
*
Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and reporting procedures.
*
Build positive relationships with students and staff across school settings.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*
Hold QTS or equivalent UK‑recognised teaching qualification (essential).
*
Be a confident ECT or an experienced teacher within the secondary phase.
*
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS3–KS4 PE curriculum.
*
Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, participation and behaviour.
*
Show an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and school leaders.
