RS Teacher Job Type: Full-time, Temporary until May half term (potential for extension or permanent position) Location: Preston Salary: Day rates paid according to scale We are seeking an RS Teacher to join an excellent school in Preston. This full-time position starts ASAP and runs until the May half term, with the potential to extend or become permanent. The role involves teaching religious studies to all year groups, providing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RS lessons across all year groups. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance. Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and other events. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience in teaching RS at various educational levels. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
