Secondary School Cover Supervisor – South Manchester

Role: Cover Supervisor

Pay: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience) Location: Trafford and surrounding areas

Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a wide range of secondary schools in Trafford, including Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston, Timperley, Trafford Park, and nearby locations.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior school-based experience who are confident supervising classes, managing behaviour, and maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.

About the Role – Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will support schools during short‑term staff absences on a day-to‑day basis, ensuring continuity of learning and minimal disruption in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre‑planned lessons set by the class teacher Supervising whole classes across KS3 and KS4 Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Keeping students focused, engaged, and on task Providing support to pupils where required Gaining valuable experience across a variety of subjects and year groups The Ideal Candidate
