Secondary SEN Learning Support Assistant – January Start\n\nLocation: Stockport\n\nAre you a Psychology graduate, Youth Worker, or an experienced support professional looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a secondary SEN provision?\n\nGSL Education Manchester is working closely with a secondary school in Stockport to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils within their specialist SEN provision from January 2026. This is a long-term opportunity supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils who require additional academic, emotional, and behavioural support.\n\nThis role is particularly well suited to individuals considering careers in educational psychology, mental health, youth justice, SEN teaching, or therapy-based professions.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nYou will be based primarily within the school’s SEN provision, supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
