Teaching Assistant - SEMH/SEN Support Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm, Mon-Fri Location: Cramlington

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional, and learning needs in a SEMH/SEN setting. You’ll work closely with teachers to help pupils engage, regulate emotions, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support learning and classroom engagement Assist with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Implement individual support plans and EHCP guidance Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage independenceRequirements:

Experience with children/young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or additional needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm, patient, and adaptable Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow safeguarding procedures Experience working with children and young people with additional learning needs Experience in inclusive and special educational settingsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real impact on students' lives.
