Job Description:

TimePlan Education are currently seeking motivated and versatile Secondary Teachers to join our team on a supply basis across various SEN schools and alternative provisions within Torbay. As a supply cover teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in different schools, providing essential cover for absent teachers. The roles will be to teach across English, Maths and Science. This is a temporary position that offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a positive impact on the education of young individuals.

The roles are cover a variety of flexible work patterns such as -

- Day to day

- Short-time full or part-time

-Maternity and paternity leave cover

- Long term sickness or vacancy cover spanning over a whole term or academic year.

Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality lessons across different subject areas and year groups based on the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment to facilitate effective learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Managing students' behaviour and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Adapting teaching methods and materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assessing students' progress and providing feedback to the regular teachers.
Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth transition between classes and uphold the school's standards.
Following school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of students.Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
Subject specialism in English, Maths, Science,
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and subject areas.
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.Benefits:
