Supply Secondary Teacher - Basingstoke

About the Role

U-Educate seeking dynamic and adaptable Supply Secondary Teachers to cover lessons across a range of subjects in schools across the Basingstoke area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible, rewarding work while supporting students learning across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring continuity of learning in line with school policies.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons across secondary subjects
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual pupil needs
Monitor student engagement and provide feedback when required
Follow all safeguarding and school policies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Flexibility, reliability, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
