Smile Education are proud to be supporting The Endeavour Multi Academy Trust in the recruitment of an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and supportive team at their school in Wolverhampton
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant and inclusive special school community, supporting pupils aged 11–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

The Role The successful candidate will:
Support teaching and learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs Work closely with teaching staff, Senior Leadership Team, in-house specialists and therapy professionals to support pupil progress Adapt support strategies in line with guidance to meet individual needs Supervise pupils at lunchtime Undertake duties as required to contribute to a safe, positive and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will: Have strong behaviour management skills Be able to listen to guidance and adapt their support approach to meet individual student needs Have experience supporting students with a range of additional needs Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs Have high standards and expectations of themselves and the pupils they support Be creative, enthusiastic and have a positive “can do” attitude Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and hardworking team Have excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSafeguarding This school and Smile Education are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
