Experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant - Role Overview

As an Experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across KS3 and KS4. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils in lessons across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, and Science

Working 1:1 and with small groups to raise attainment and build confidence

Supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and behaviour support

Helping students stay engaged, focused, and on task in lessons

Supporting with interventions, homework, and exam preparation

Supervising students during lessons, breaktimes, or when required

Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
