Long Term Futures are recruiting a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary school in Barking, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs and helping them access the curriculum in a structured secondary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class and small-group support across KS3 and KS4 Support students with SEN and additional learning needs Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation Promote engagement, inclusion and positive learning behaviours Build strong, supportive relationships with students

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working in a secondary school setting (desirable) A patient, proactive and adaptable approach Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice Background in SEN, youth work or education (desirable)

Location & Transport - Barking, East London

Accessible via Barking Station (District, Hammersmith & City, Overground and C2C) Close to Upney and Becontree (District Line) Bus routes: 5, 62, 169, 173, 287, 368 On-site parking available (school dependent)
