Prospero Teaching are working with a high-performing Secondary School near Stockport who are looking for a full-time, confident and dynamic Teaching Assistant to start in April 2026. This position is suitable for recent graduates who are considering a career in education.

Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Location: Stockport Contract: Full-time / Term-time only Minimum pay rate: £97/day

What will you do: Work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who need extra help. Assist in preparing resources and maintaining a positive learning environment. Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher.

Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable.

Experience working with young people in either a voluntary or professional capacity desirable.
