Security Cleared Financial Controller/Accountant is required for a UK-based technology organisation delivering advanced engineering, cyber, and data-driven solutions to government and commercial clients. The company specialises in secure systems, communications, artificial intelligence, and mission-critical software that support defence programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to drive improvements in financial reporting and related processes while overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, inventory, and fixed assets. You will prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial statements, manage treasury and cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and coordinating both internal and external audit processes.

Skills:

• Active SC clearance.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience as financial accountant or finance professional.
• Extensive knowledge of basic and advanced accounting financial principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Working knowledge of ERP software, ideally IFS and MS Office
