Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role.Atrium Global is partnering with a client in the healthcare technology sector, supporting the delivery of secure, innovative software solutions used across the UK healthcare ecosystem.Job OverviewWe are seeking a Security Engineer with strong AWS expertise to support the development and maintenance of security platforms, with a focus on cloud applications and pipeline security.You will work within the security function to design, develop, and configure security tooling across both customer-facing environments and internal infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and architecture teams to embed security into development pipelines, ensuring secure delivery through automation, guardrails, and monitoring.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with Security Architects and internal teams to deliver security initiativesWork with engineers and solution architects to define secure technical requirementsDevelop delivery plans and manage task executionIdentify and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructurePerform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessmentsProduce security documentation, standards, and guidelinesRecommend improvements to enhance detection, response, and risk mitigationEnsure adherence to information security policies and technical standardsIntegrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsImplement monitoring and guardrails to ensure secure application deliveryREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3+ years of relevant experience in security engineeringExperience working within a security tooling or SOC environmentStrong understanding of secure development practices within CI/CD pipelinesExperience with source control and development platforms (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps)Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to implement security controls within development environmentsKnowledge of compliance frameworks and security standardsExperience with threat modelling and dynamic security testingStrong scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure security configurationExperience implementing security automationKnowledge of security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, IDS, WAF, and vulnerability management toolsExperience with SIEM platforms, including ELK stack #J-18808-Ljbffr
