An exciting opportunity has arisen at Renfrew Golf Club as we are inviting applications for our Catering Franchise. The franchise is a self-employed role. The Club is one of Scotlands finest parkland golf courses, has a large Membership, and holds several club and charity events each year. We require an experienced Catering Team to deliver exceptional food services to a wide range of clients consisting of members, guests, golfing visitors and group bookings. The franchise is a self-employed role; however, the Club are on hand to support the franchisee and develop a wonderful working relationship, capable of providing memorable culinary experiences. This position requires the successful applicant to manage all aspects of the catering operation, ensuring a high level of food quality and exceptional service. The franchise offers numerous opportunities to generate revenue, including established member parties, social events, private hires, golfing groups, and society golf outings. The club boasts a well-equipped kitchen. With a dining room within a newly refurbished large main lounge, the club can seat in excess of 150 people and boasts excellent views over the golf course. What we are looking for: An individual or team who can deliver first class food services on a day-to-day basis.
An organised catering franchisee who can execute events merging the food opportunities with our beverage department and integrating these with a busy golf and social calendar.
An excellent communicator with proven staff management skills.
Hold the appropriate food preparation and health & hygiene certificates.
A team capable of delivering enjoyable catering through to fine dining and special experiences.
Agreeable to appropriate trading hours which will vary with the seasonality of the business and be flexible enough to extend hours as and when needed for scheduled events.
Demonstrate that they can work effectively with key personnel at the Club, including but not limited to, The General Manager, The Captain, The House Convener and other committee members.
The Club is member owned and has an exceptionally high footfall of golfers consisting of members and guests. We are looking to enhance our clubhouse customer experience.
