What you'll do as an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs

Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

Help pupils engage with learning and classroom routines

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*

Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

What we're looking for in a SEMH Teaching Assistant:

Experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs (desirable)

Calm, patient, and consistent approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills
