SEMH Teaching Assistant

A well-regarded and supportive primary school in Camden is looking to appoint a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS2 with SEMH needs.

This is a long-term opportunity starting ASAP, ideal for someone who has experience supporting children with behavioural needs and is passionate about making a difference.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH (anxiety, emotional regulation, behaviour challenges)
Implement behaviour support strategies and routines
Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agencies
Support access to learning and encourage positive engagementThe Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
Resilient, patient, and consistent approach
Confident managing behaviour within a classroom setting
A positive, proactive attitudeWhat's on Offer:
