About the Role:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll work with pupils across Key Stages 1-4 who may also have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties. Your role will be to build positive relationships, support emotional regulation, and encourage academic progress in and out of the classroom. Each day brings something new-whether you're helping to calm a difficult situation, delivering tailored support during lessons, or simply offering a listening ear, your presence will make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
Supporting students with SEMH and related conditions including ASD and ADHD
Encouraging engagement and participation in class-based and individual learning activities
Promoting emotional well-being and helping students develop positive coping strategies
Reinforcing boundaries and supporting behavioural interventions
