Are you a resilient, compassionate, and inspiring educator? We’re seeking dedicated Teachers to work within SEMH and SEN specialist settings across Suffolk, supporting young people who need a tailored, nurturing approach to learning.

What You’ll Do

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the complex needs of students with SEMH/SEN profiles.
Build trusting relationships that help students re-engage with learning and develop positive attitudes.
Use trauma‑informed, restorative, and child‑centred approaches to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Work closely with therapists, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure holistic support.
Track progress and celebrate achievement, however small, to build confidence and self‑esteem.
What We’re Looking For

QTS or ECT status
Experience within SEMH/SEN settings is beneficial, but a strong passion for inclusive education is essential
Excellent behaviour‑support strategies and emotional resilience
Adaptability, creativity, and a calm, consistent approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
