GEM are working with a global organisation to recruit a number of fitters to carry out project-related tasks based on a client’s site located in the North East. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience within this sector, full training is provided. Duties Dismantling and assembling machinery. Loading, unloading, and relocating machines and materials. Demolishing and scrapping machines and buildings. Packing machines and materials for transport. Reporting damages and malfunctions to the Project Manager. Accounting for work carried out and completing the required documents/work orders, etc. Ensuring the responsible and careful use, maintenance, and management of all equipment. Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others by following safety regulations and using personal protective equipment. Maintaining an efficient and tidy working environment. Performing physical tasks in various positions Exerting force or lifting up to 23 kg, occasionally more.
