Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading Aerospace organisation to recruit a Semi Skilled Operator (Sealer, Cleaner & Polisher) for an initial 12 month contract but with a 6 Month review. This role will start on Standard Days (usually 08.00 to 16.30 Mon – Thurs and 07.45 to 12.45 Fridays although these hours may vary during training) however it is fairly likely to move on to Double Days shift (Working week One Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm and Fridays 6am to 1.30pm then, Week Two Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 2pm to 9.30pm). The role would be full time onsite in East Cowes. The rate of pay on offer while on standard days is £15.53 PAYE and should it move to double days shift then the rate would be £19.41 Per Hour PAYE Please find the job spec. below: ROLE PURPOSE: - To seal/clean/polish/paint touch up internal and external assemblies and sub-assemblies within the paint shop and/or out in the production areas, in jig, to customer tolerances and specifications. - Job holders will be required to achieve a “certified” status where applicable and will receive relevant training to undertake their tasks safely, and to a high quality level, through a Job Instruction Process.
