1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - East London - £95-£115 per day

We are currently recruiting for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a pupil with special educational needs on a daily basis, helping to create a structured and engaging learning environment tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
Support engagement in lessons and learning activities
Assist with behaviour management and emotional support
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO
Track progress and support personalised learning plansThe Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
Calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting pupils with additional needsThe School Offers:
