Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an SEN English Cover Supervisor to join an SEMH school in Harrow.

Position: SEN English Cover Supervisor School Type: SEN school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges Key Stage: KS3 / KS4 Subject: English (including GCSE English delivery) Schedule: 5 days per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing (no fixed end date) Location: Harrow Parking: On-site parking available Daily Rate: GBP120-GBP160 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities · Deliver pre-prepared English lessons, including GCSE English content, to KS3 and KS4 pupils in an SEN/SEMH setting · Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets · Manage challenging behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment · Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback · Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and senior leadership

Requirements · Degree in English (or a related subject) · Experience delivering English at KS3/KS4, including GCSE · Experience working in an SEN or SEMH setting (or similar environment) · Strong behaviour management skills · Enhanced DBS on the Update Service · Two references covering the past t...
