TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Morpeth, supporting students with SEMH and trauma-related needs. The setting provides a structured and supportive environment, focusing on building trust, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour strategies.
The school is looking to take on a full-time Cover Supervisor with the possibility of a permanent position, starting ASAP. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons, managing challenging behaviour, and supporting students with SEMH and trauma to remain engaged in their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role
• Experience supporting students with SEMH, trauma, or challenging behaviour
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects
• A calm, resilient and patient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility
