SEN Learning Support Assistant Winchester
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and inclusive school in Winchester. You will be supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, manage emotions, and make positive progress in a safe and structured environment. The Role: Provide 1:1 support for pupils with a range of SEND needs Assist with small-group interventions and classroom learning Help pupils regulate emotions, stay on task, and build essential skills Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement supportive strategies Encourage independence, resilience, and positive social interactions Contribute to a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Support pupils during lessons, transitions, and daily routines
